Free Tax Preparation Services

We provide free tax help for low-to-moderate income families who need assistance preparing their tax returns through our certified volunteer programs.

VITA Program

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Free tax help for people who generally make $64,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and limited English speaking taxpayers.

Who Qualifies:

  • Individuals earning $64,000 or less
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Limited English speaking taxpayers
  • Military families

Services Include:

  • Federal and state tax preparation
  • Electronic filing
  • Direct deposit setup
  • Tax credit assistance (EITC, Child Tax Credit)
TCE Program
Tax Counseling for the Elderly
Free tax help for all taxpayers, particularly those who are 60 years of age and older, specializing in pension and retirement issues.
Who Qualifies:
  • Taxpayers 60 years of age and older
  • All income levels welcome
  • Retirees with pension questions
  • Social Security recipients
Specialized Services:
  • Retirement income planning
  • Pension and 401(k) guidance
  • Social Security taxation
  • Medicare-related tax issues

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the diverse needs of our community, with extended hours during tax season.

Tax Season (January – April)
